ELC Essentials
ELC Essentials is a Chrome extension for UGA D2L Brightspace with practice tests, a course schedule, tasks, and a grade calculator.
Challenge
Students on UGA D2L Brightspace (ELC) have to jump between practice material, the course calendar, tasks, and grades. The official pages cover the basics, and they still leave a lot of study planning to the student.
Work done
We built ELC Essentials as a Chrome extension that sits on top of ELC. It adds practice tests, including an exam builder, a course schedule imported from Athena, a task dashboard, and a projected grade calculator. The extension is listed on the Chrome Web Store, and the source is on GitHub under an MIT license.
Result
Students can run practice tests, see their week, keep tasks in one place, and check projected grades without leaving ELC.
