Yavaa
Yavaa is the city discovery app for Ulaanbaatar, built around the hard problem of finding accurate café, restaurant, and nightlife information.
Challenge
Accurate data for cafés, restaurants, and nightlife in Ulaanbaatar is surprisingly hard to find. Hours, menus, and whether a place is even open often disagree across maps and social posts. The gap is large enough that locals sometimes call specialized companies just to confirm details like opening hours.
Work done
We designed and shipped Yavaa as the city discovery app for Ulaanbaatar. Residents and visitors browse restaurants, cafés, and nightlife with map walk guidance, QR vouchers, and Local Guide reviews, and can ask the community when public listings are thin or out of date.
Result
The app is available on the App Store for people who need a more reliable way to explore the city.
